Delivery of the New Vapour Exhaust System for the Skinn Pass Mill in Iserlohn

DANIELI Fröhling manufactures a combined two/four high skin pass mill for the production site in Iserlohn-Letmathe of the company Risse + Wilke. It is used to re-roll steel band with a thickness between 0.2 mm and 6.0 mm and widths up to 820 mm. Schuh Anlagentechnik delivers the complete industrial air handling system for the skin pass mill, including a vapour exhaust system as well as a dedusting system.
The dedusting system proved itself in various applications and is especially suitable for flexible production processes. The vapour exhaust system of Schuh Anlagentechnik, with integrated pulse jet sleeve filter for border, polishing head and belt press, is suitable for volume flow rates of about 6.500 m³/h.
Furthermore, an additional compact and low-maintenance vapour exhaust system is provided. It allows the extraction of oil mist via swirl tubes and the separation of liquid particles from the waste air within the oil mist separator. The vapour exhaust system ensures a high degree of safety and reliability during continuous operation and meets all requirements of the Technical Constructions on Air Quality Control. This air handling system, based on the swirl tube technology of Schuh Anlagentechnik, requires less space and energy compared to classic exhaust systems. This allows a reduced volume flow rate without a loss of efficiency at a constant level of exhaust rates.
In both exhaust systems, an additional pure filter guarantees a very high degree of purification. Therefore, the compact air handling systems meet all requirements regarding high energy efficiency, low maintenance efforts and environmentally friendly production processes.
The vapour exhaust system was delivered in August. Assembly and commissioning are planned for the year 2012 as well.
