In the collaboration between VOITH and Shandong Huatai for the overhaul of paper machine PM 11, VOITH has opted for the edge trim extraction solutions provided by Schuh Anlagentechnik. Schuh Anlagentechnik thus serves as a technology partner for the efficient removal of endless edge trim at the paper machine using the specially developed tear fan systems designed for the paper industry.
This solution enables the capture and shredding of edge trim at the catcher devices, as well as the transportation of the ruptured edge trim into the existing vacuum wet system. Adjustment devices ensure optimal adaptation to different machine speeds, thus ensuring efficient edge trim disposal for widths of up to 100 mm and speeds of up to 2,500 m/min.
